Biography
Dermot is CEO of CUSOP, who provide fintech services to the credit union sector. He is a member of the Credit Union Advisory Committee to the Minister of Finance.
Dermot served as CEO of the National Lottery from 2005 to 2019 and was Commercial Director for Vodafone.
Dermot holds a BComm from UCD and qualified as an accountant with KPMG.
Election Statement
I am seeking re-election to the Dublin Chamber Council having served on the Council since 2019. I believe the Council has a vital role to play in making Dublin a better place to live and work. Dublin has enormous advantages to leverage but has huge infrastructural and environmental challenges to overcome.
If elected, I feel I have the drive and experience to ensure Dublin Chamber uses its strong voice and expert resources to influence Government, Local Councils and other parties to achieve meaningful tangible results. Having worked in the public and private sectors, I will use my experience to help guide the Dublin Chamber Council to be most effective in achieving our goal of making Dublin a great City.
