At this event we will hear Declan, discuss Enterprise in Ireland.

Declan will be talking about what the Government is doing to promote indigenous business growth and what supports are available for SMEs.
After Declan's presentation there will be an audience Q&A.
Declan Hughes is Assistant Secretary General at the Department of Business Enterprise & Innovation with responsibility for supporting Irish owned businesses. His remit includes strategic and budgetary oversight of Enterprise Ireland, including the Local Enterprise Offices, as well as the National Standards Authority for Ireland.
His other responsibilities include working closely with the Department of Finance and the SBCI to ensure that SMEs have access to appropriate finance, including through Microfinance Ireland and the Credit Guarantee Scheme. He also c-ordinates policy for the Digital Single Market and Digital Economy Transformation.
