Anne Marie Cagney is the Garda Assistant Commissioner for the Dublin Metropolitan Region, appointed in April 2020. She holds a Degree in Legal Studies and a BSc In Police Management. A native of Wicklow, she joined An Garda Síochána in 1989 and has served in a number of roles, including previously Assistant Commissioner for the Eastern Region.
