To understand the challenges climate change presents and to examine how we can achieve a more sustainable future Dublin Chamber will run a series of four events to update and inform members on the legislative and political context of climate action and the benefits and opportunities that a move toward a low carbon and more circular economy can present to business. The theme of the second event in the series is Sustainable mobility.

About Our Panel Members:

Mark Teevan, Hydrogen Mobility Ireland

Mark spent many years with Toyota in Ireland, the majority at board level having held a variety of roles, most recently as Director of Strategy, Innovation & Corporate Affairs.
In the Mobility field he led the formation of Toyota’s first Car Share operation in Europe and after three years of effort and development it is now in expansion mode.
In 2019 he was the founder and driving force behind Hydrogen Mobility Ireland (HMI) an organisation with 13 commercial members, as well as government and academic stakeholders. HMI has delivered a full roadmap for the introduction of hydrogen fuel cell transport and is now focused on deployment, https://h2mi.ie
Mark has recently left Toyota (although still consulting with them) and has joined a small, UK based, SME advisory firm called Prime Advantage Capital Partners  link
PA-Capital Partners focuses on sectors being disrupted by technology and helps ambitious small companies to develop their business plans, to get ‘investor ready’, and then introduces them to potential funders. Mark has become their first Partner in Ireland and his initial target sectors are Mobility, New Energy and Sustainability.


Fiona Brady Head of Operations, Free Now

Fiona Brady, Head of Operations, FREE NOW IrelandFiona is the Head of Operations for FREE NOW Ireland, with over 18 years of experience in transport and mobility, covering public, private and tech industries. Within FREE NOW Ireland Fiona drives the sustainability and innovation agenda- which includes the electrification of the taxi fleet, multi mobility and the recent in app public transport integration, while partnering with the relevant industry stakeholders.Fiona has also been newly appointed as a member of the Taxi Advisory Committee which has a statutory duty to advise the Minister and the National Transport Authority (NTA) on issues relevant to the SPSV industry.FREE NOW is Ireland’s leading mobility app and has been active in Ireland for nine years. Next to ride hailing, FREE NOW also offers a range of mobility services such as e-scooters, e-bikes, e-mopeds as well as car sharing across Europe.



Jamie Cudden, Smart City Programme Manager, Dublin City Council 

Jamie leads Dublin City Council’s Smart City program – an award-winning innovation programme that is addressing city challenges through the application of new and emerging tech opportunities (such as Internet of Things, Big Data and 5G) He has pioneered a challenge-based approach to addressing issues such as sustainable mobility, environment, energy and citizen engagement. He teaches on a Harvard civic innovation certificate program covering procurement innovation and strategic approaches to civic innovation http://tech.seas.harvard.edu/foundations-city-innovation. He established the 'Smart Dublin’ regional initiative in 2015 - an umbrella brand for the four Dublin local authorities to collaborate and to deliver more efficient city services, better outcomes for residents and to support new economic opportunities. One of his flagship projects is the delivery of the ‘Smart Docklands’ district that provides a platform for start-ups, big tech, the city, and academia to come together and fast track innovation. The smart district model now forms a key part of Smart Dublin strategy with five districts in place covering themes such as health and wellness, tourism, future connectivity, smart campuses and business parks. Jamie successfully implemented a large scale challenge based innovation program in Dublin City Council working with over 40+ companies (mostly SME's) tackling areas such as last mile delivery, smart mobility and flood monitoring.
He has delivered collaborations with world leading companies such as Google, Dense Air, Softbank, Accenture, Microsoft, Mastercard, IBM and Intel. Presents at events such as GSMA MWC, Dubai IOTx, Barcelona Smart City Expo and IOT world and is also involved in a number of advisory roles relating to Smart City developments. He represents Dublin on Smart City alliances including the Harvard TECH Innovators Forum, Cities Today Institute and Mastercard's City Possible initiative.
