Trisha Lewis, an executive head chef, began documenting her weight loss journey online in April 2018. At the time she weighed 26 stone.
The reason she decided to start using social media was to show people the real side of weight loss; the highs, the lows and everything in between. She wanted to document not only her transformation, but the fun that can be had when losing weight.
Trisha also wanted to show that exercising can be for any individual and encourage others to get active, not only for weight loss - but to make themselves feel better.
During her talk, Trisha tells her own story. She discusses how her physical and mental health deteriorated and how difficult it was for her as a young woman. She discusses the process- her how and why. By doing her talks, she hopes to inspire people, make them smile and help people understand that you are never too far gone for a change. Anything is possible if you put your mind to it!
Trisha has now lost 8 stone since her journey began. Changing her lifestyle has not only transformed her physically but internally too. Trisha hopes to inspire others to do the same
