Join us on 30th August to learn about transformative plans to renew the heart of North Dublin City.

Renowned architect Friedrich Ludewig will be in Dublin to share his vision for a revitalised O’Connell Street district. The ambitious plan, championed by Chamber members Hammerson plc, will see redevelopment of long vacant and neglected sites on O’Connell Street and Moore Street, and the rebirth of a new mixed-use district for commerce, shopping, and residence.

Edward Dobbs, Development Manager, Hammerson

Friedrich Ludewig, Director, Director, ACME Architects. As a Director of ACME, he oversees the design work across all projects in the office. Friedrich has led range of international projects, including the London Olympics Masterplan. He has taught and lectured as a Visiting Critic at The Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, Harvard University Graduate School of Design, Darmstadt University, Berlage Institute in Rotterdam, The Bartlett UCL, the Royal College of Art in London, and the Architectural Association.

Ali Grehan, Dublin City Architect, Dublin City Council. Ali Grehan has held a variety of roles spanning private practice in Dublin, London and Bilbao, and in the public sector where her focus has been on leading large-scale urban regeneration, housing and infrastructure projects. She also plays a leadership role in developing policy and strategy in relation to the civic realm, housing and the development of social, community and cultural infrastructure.
