The impacts of continued climate change could incur an even greater shock to our economy than the Covid-19 crisis. Climate change has the power to impact our way of life, the viability of otherwise thriving businesses, and increase unemployment.
Dublin Chamber believes a more sustainable future can be achieved, but only through a holistic approach. Sustainable mobility, flexible working practices, a focus on renewable energy, circular economy adoption by business, and urban density are all key to a sustainable reset. To understand the challenges climate change presents and to examine how we can achieve a more sustainable future Dublin Chamber will run a series of four events for senior decision makers from Dublin Chamber’s membership. The aim of the series is to update and inform Dublin Chamber members on the legislative and political context of climate action and the benefits and opportunities that a move toward a low carbon and more circular economy can present to business.
