Event Details
Dublin Chamber would like to invite you to participate in a roundtable discussion exploring Ireland - and Dublin’s - vulnerabilities and their implications for business and competitiveness. The discussion will also examine the country’s exposure to external economic shocks, supply chain disruption and geopolitical risk.
The roundtable will take place online at 12pm on Friday, 6th February. The session will last approximately 60 minutes and will centre on the contributions of participants.
Each attendee will be asked to briefly speak on the following questions:
- What are the most significant vulnerabilities facing Irish Business today (e.g. energy security, access to fresh and wastewater connections, cybersecurity, supply chains etc.), and how are these already influencing risk management and investment decisions.
- How exposed are businesses to external economic shocks, geopolitical changes and supply chain disruption, and where are the weak points in Ireland’s current resilience framework?
- What actions should policymakers take now to strengthen economic resilience, investment confidence and preparedness?
