Roundtable Discussion on Upcoming Legislative Changes

This event is closed.

Event Details

As we approach 2024, Dublin businesses are poised to encounter a significant wave of legislative requirements, ranging from auto-enrolment in pension schemes to the continued expansion of statutory sick pay entitlements, the right to request remote work, ongoing gender pay gap reporting, and increases in the national minimum wage. Dublin Chamber wants to better understand your perspective so that we can most effectively lobby on your behalf.

The roundtable discussion will be held online at 12pm on Friday, 24th of November. The session will last approximately 60 minutes, and we hope to have a robust exchange of views and sharing of business experiences.

Discussion will be based on your individual input and broadly framed by the following themes:

  1. Of the above, which upcoming pieces of legislation do you expect to have the greatest impact on your firm's operations or financial health? What will their cumulative impact be?
  2. What are the greatest challenges your business anticipates in complying with this new wave of legislation?
  3. Do you have any key asks of Government or recommendations that would support your business as it navigates these legislative changes?
