Dublin Chamber in partnership with DCC will run an information event on the business benefits of employing individuals with disabilities. The Dublin Chamber MC and Lord Mayor will open the event outlining the Empowering Our Future initiative. Four keynote speakers will share insights from industry. A panel discussion and audience Q&A will close the session.

Maeve Monaghan, CEO, NOW Group
Maeve Monaghan is the leader of NOW Group, a social enterprise dedicated to supporting people with disabilities and learning difficulties in securing jobs with a future. Under Maeve’s leadership, NOW Group has significantly expanded its reach and impact, transforming lives across Ireland.

She received an MBE in 2022 and won the Exceptional Leadership Award from Women in Business. Additionally, she was shortlisted for the Not-for-Profit Leader of the Year at the 2024 Business Post’s Leadership Excellence Awards. Maeve chairs Clanmil Housing Association and previously chaired Give Inc and the The Community Foundation for Northern Ireland.

Edel McSorley, Operations Director, MrPRICE Branded Bargains

Edel is Operations Director at MrPRICE Branded Bargains, a rapidly expanding discount retailer with over 70 stores across Ireland. With 25+ years in retail leadership, she is known for her expertise in operations, change management, and fostering inclusive workplaces.

Under Edel’s leadership, MrPRICE has received numerous national awards, including the People’s Choice Award (Charity Excellence Awards 2022), Talent Acquisition Strategy Award (Irish HR Champion Awards 2023), Advancing Disability Equality and Advancing Social Inclusion Awards (National Diversity & Inclusion Awards 2023 & 2024), ERG Leader of the Year (Business Post Leadership Excellence Awards 2024) and Inclusive Workplace at Newstalk Changemakers Business Awards 2025. 

Eimear Harty, HR Director, Bank of Ireland
Eimear is HR Director for Bank of Ireland’s Retail division and Group Head of Inclusion & Diversity. She is passionate about Accessibility and Neuroinclusion, leading the strategy to make Bank of Ireland a neuroinclusive employer. 

Eimear brings her experience of implementing the Bank of Ireland neuro-inclusion strategy- including the Neuroinclusive Hiring Charter. The Charter outlines Bank of Ireland's dedication to creating and inclusive hiring environment where diverse ways of thinking and working are celebrated.

David Sneddon, Google VP

David Sneddon is a Google VP and leads the gTech Ads team in EMEA. David represents the Google Ireland site internally as Google Ireland Site Lead. David is responsible for all technical support and customer care for EMEA and is a member of the Google EMEA management team representing the c. 21,000 Google employees across the region.

Alongside his day job, David is the EMEA Executive Sponsor of the Google Disability Alliance (an Employee Resource Group in Google). Before joining Google, David held a variety of roles in the marketing/digital industry, both in London and Dublin. Born in the UK, he has made Dublin, Ireland his home since 1999.
