Liam Lewis, Centre Manager, CAPPA

Liam Lewis is the Centre Manager at the Centre for Advanced Photonics and Process Analysis (CAPPA), based in CIT. He joined CAPPA in 2008 with the aim of bridging the gap between research and industry and in particular to show how the use of photonics and advanced imaging techniques can add value to the industrial cycle. He is currently manager of the CAPPA centre gateway, with an annual turnover of €2 million per year. He oversees the negotiation and implementation of a broad range of R&D projects in areas such as medical device, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, consumer electronics, food, beverage and dairy sectors
