A website is more than an online shopfront — it is the foundation of digital presence and a key driver of customer experience. Understanding how websites perform, and how to measure that performance, is critical for business success. 

This course explores the essentials of building and optimising a strong online experience. It covers website design, usability, user-centred journeys, and the principles of digital analytics. Learners are introduced to key concepts in measurement, from website metrics to A/B testing, and to the responsibilities involved in data protection and privacy. 

Delivered through self-guided study, the course allows participants to engage with material in their own time while still working towards a structured outcome. The final exam provides recognition of the knowledge gained, demonstrating a professional standard in web performance and analytics.
