Dublin Chamber's Budget & Competitiveness Taskforce.

The Budget and Competitiveness taskforce develops and informs Chamber policy on:

· Budgetary policy at national Government and local authority level;

· Enterprise and competitiveness policy;

· The transition to more sustainable work and business practices; and

· Safety in Dublin.

Headline Items: Budget 2026, Commercial rates, Safety, Administrative burden, Business engagement with sustainability.

Recent Meetings:

· Meeting with the Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment’s Tax Policy Unit to discuss priorities ahead of the annual budget process, April 2025

· Taskforce meeting to finalise Dublin Chamber’s Pre-Budget Submission for Budget 2026, April 2025

· Launched competitiveness report at Leinster House with Dublin T.D.s, April 2025

· Meeting with Minister Robert Troy at the Department of Finance, June 2025
